If you are anywhere near the Dordogne valley, come to Lo Gorissado, a farm to table food paradise. You'll experience the meal of a lifetime, courtesy of the kindest and most caring staff/owners.
My wife and I drove through the woods on winding roads, and just as we thought we'd driven too far, we found this restaurant. After parking in the grass by a barn, we walked up to the dining room to be greeted by the smiling face of the owner, the most delightful hostess that has ever guided us though meal.
The food was superb as was as the story behind each plate. This husband and wife team knows how to inspire awe with their dishes. We've spent two weeks traveling from Paris, to Lyon, to Nice, to the Dordogne valley, to San Sebastian (Spain), and eaten amazing meals in all of those cities best eateries. None of those meals has compared to the quality, service, and experience at Lo Gorissado.
Just one piece of advice: if you're staying in the Dordogne valley for more than a couple days, go to this restaurant last because no other food will compare.
